Vegetable Glycerin would replace the alcohol for alcohol free tinctures.
Use 6-30 drops in mouth, juice or water. May be taken 3 times daily. Shake well. Store in cool dark place.
Special Precautions & Warnings:
May lower blood pressure and heart rate. May potentiate heart medications. May potentiate diuretic drugs. May cause stomach upset. Do not use in large quantities. Excessive doses can cause dizziness and bronchial congestion, mental confusion and/or irregular pulse rate. Do not give to children under six years of age. People with ulcers or gastritis should avoid taking this. Should not be used in large doses because it can irritate the gastro-intestinal tract. Not recommended for use by persons taking blood thinning agents, are pregnant, with inflammatory kidney disease, if have intestinal obstruction, Crohn’s disease, diarrhea, appendicitis, abdominal pain, or have seizure disorders. Flushed skin, skin rash and upset stomach have been reported. Do not use if protein hypersensitive or have chronic-progressive infections such as tuberculosis and AIDS. Interferes with mineral absorption. Berberine stimulates the uterus. If a person has high blood pressure, watch for the highs and lows and if they occur. Keep out of reach of children.
